ChuckGarric.com - The Drüts -

The Drüts, pronounced (The Dr-oo-ts) formed in 1999-2000. Influenced by Motörhead, Budweiser and BikerFests, Chuck Garric wanted to create a live, raw power, Rock & Roll band.
During Chuck's first tour with Dio, MotörHead was the other band on the bill. After spending two months on the road with the boys, Chuck thought if he couldn't be in MotörHead then he'll start his own band and borrow what he loved about them.
He quickly put together two of rock's power players: Chris Latham on guitars and Tod Burr on drums.
After a few rehearsals and a couple of live shows The Drüts went right to the studio to track a few songs. The response to the live shows and studio recorded songs was immediately positive and the Drüts were asked to track a few songs with the Robb brothers at Cherokee Studios.
Soon after, more songs were recorded with musical genius and engineer Mike Butler. More live shows followed and the band found their fan base growing.
THE DRÜTS album is unique in that the listner can hear the band growing. Most of the songs were recorded at different times at different studios with different engineers and producers, so the listener gets a chance to hear The Drüts go through musical changes.
